Refund and Cancellation Policy
What happens to your payment if you cancel, if you change your mind, or if something goes wrong. Your quotation sets the amounts and the dates; this policy explains the rules around them.

Our approach
Zenith Corporate Consultants (Zenith Filings) wants you to be satisfied with our work. If something goes wrong on our side, tell us straight away and we will put it right. If we cannot, we will refund the part of the professional fee for work we did not do.
What you pay for
- Professional fees are for our work and are set out in your quotation.
- Government fees, stamp duty, taxes and third-party charges are shown separately in the quotation. They are paid to authorities or other parties and are covered below.
Cancelling
- Before work starts: you can cancel and we refund the advance you paid, less any cost we have already incurred for you, such as a government fee, a digital signature certificate or other third-party charge.
- After work has started: you can cancel at any time. The fee for work already done, and any cost already incurred for you, stays with us. The fee for work not yet done is refunded.
- If you ask us to pause: we hold your payment on your account until you are ready to continue. Costs we have already incurred remain payable.
- Your quotation can set different terms for a particular engagement, for example for a retainer. Where it does, the quotation applies.
Changing your mind about the service
If you ordered one service and need a different one, tell us as soon as you can. Where we have not started the work, we move your payment to the new service. Where we have started, we credit the fee for the work not yet done towards the new service.
When we do not complete the work
If we are unable to complete the work for a reason on our side, we refund the professional fee for the part we did not complete. If we make an error, we correct it at no extra professional fee, and any reimbursement beyond that is set out in the terms agreed for your engagement.
Government and third-party charges
We do not refund charges that have been paid to an authority or a third party, because the money is no longer with us. If the authority or the third party refunds it, we pass the refund to you. We do not pay taxes, penalties or interest on your behalf unless the quotation says so.
Things outside our control
Authorities decide applications and set their own timelines. We cannot promise a result or a date, and an authority's rejection, query, backlog or website outage is not on its own a reason for a refund of the fee for work we have done. Where we need to file again after a rejection, we do that as agreed with you, and any further government fee is yours. Delay or loss caused by missing, late or incorrect information from you is also outside our control.
Events beyond anyone's control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events such as a natural disaster, a pandemic, a government order, a strike, an outage of a government or internet service, or war or civil disorder. We will tell you what we can do once the event passes.
How to ask for a refund or cancel
- Tell your relationship manager, or write in the conversation on your request, that you want to cancel or ask for a refund, and say why.
- We review it, confirm the work done and the costs incurred, and reply with the amount we will refund and how we worked it out.
- Approved refunds are paid back to the account or method you paid from. How soon the money reaches you also depends on your bank or payment provider.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above. The policy in force when you accepted your quotation applies to that engagement. See also our Terms of Service.
